March 2008,
Message from the President...
It's a
contemplative time of the year. The hard work of 2007 is behind us, and, as is
an adjuster’s lot, the uncertainty of the future is ahead of us. It's generally
time to take stock of what we've achieved and to look forward to the upcoming
year. We have no control over the number or intensity of the storms ahead. We
have no way of knowing where in the world the storms will take us. So we wait,
and ponder. What is the best we can do for ourselves as we contemplate the
future? A positive attitude and the
continuous effort to improve our knowledge and hone our skills will carry us
forward. We can all be winners with the right attitude.
The Winner - is always part of the answer
The Loser - always part of the problem
The Winner - always has a program
The Loser - always has an excuse
The Winner - says "let me do it for you"
The Loser - says "that's not my job"
The Winner - sees an answer to every problem
The Loser - sees a problem for every answer
The Winner - sees a green near every sand trap
The Loser - sees two or three sand traps near every green
The Winner - says "it may be difficult but it's possible"
The Loser - says "it may be possible but it's too
difficult"
